Alyssa & Arlo

Parenthood is sorta like your second childhood. You get to re-live the best parts through your children and I think I attribute my youthful outlook on life due to the fact that I've been a mom to young kids for the past 25 years. Never growing up!

I love that I get to photograph women as mothers; way too often especially in my case we are the family photographers and behind the camera. Just as your children are in the middle of childhood, YOU are also in the middle of motherhood. Selfies are great ( I support the selfie movement!) but sometimes it's great to let someone else really "see" you and document that you were the kind of mother who rode on a tricycle in the house chasing your two year old around. Let's get weird!
